Vincent received his Bachelor of Music (First Honours) in Cello Performance from the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, before pursuing two Master of Music degrees in the United States. He holds a Master of Music in Cello Performance and Suzuki Pedagogy from the Cleveland Institute of Music, and a Master of Music in Chamber Music Performance from Kent State University. He went on to further pursue a Doctor of Music degree in Cello Performance at the Florida State University. Vincent’s principal cello teachers include Ray Wang, Keith Robinson, Sharon Robinson and Gregory Sauer.

Vincent has performed with many orchestras worldwide, including Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Shanghai Symphony, Tallahassee Symphony in Florida and Johnstown Symphony in Pennsylvania. He is currently a freelance cello player of the Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra.

An avid chamber musician, Vincent has worked closely with members of the Kalichstein-Laredo-Robinson Trio, Cleveland Quartet and Miami String Quartet. He is a founding member of Trio Riva, which has been awarded First Prize in the Charleston International Music Competition and Honourary Mention in the NOLA ChamberFest Competition. The group has been invited to perform in concert venues and universities including the Carnegie Hall, South Florida University and Western Kentucky University.

As a music educator, Vincent has a wealth of experience teaching students of all ages and levels. He has served as cello teaching assistant and chamber music coach at university level, and also taught private and group cello lessons to younger students ranging from beginners to advanced players, at various music schools and programmes across the U.S. and Hong Kong. Vincent believes that the role of a teacher goes beyond the transfer of knowledge; he hopes to mentor and guide his students on their lifelong journey of learning.

Vincent於香港演藝學院以一級榮譽完成音樂學士學位。之後遠赴美國先後在肯特州立大學和克里夫蘭音樂學院完成兩個表演及音樂教育相關的碩士學位。後來在佛羅里達州立大學完成大提琴演奏博士學位。他曾師隨王磊老師、Keith Robinson、Sharon Robinson和Gregory Sauer等大提琴家。 

Vincent曾與世界各地樂團出演，當中包括香港管弦樂團、上海交響樂團、塔拉赫西交響樂團和約翰斯敦交響樂團。現為香港管弦樂團的特約樂手。除了樂團演奏之外，Vincent亦是位活躍的室樂演奏者。他曾師承卡利希斯坦·拉雷多·羅賓遜三重奏、克里夫蘭四重奏和邁阿密四重奏的成員學習室樂演奏。Vincent 是Trio Riva的創始成員兼大提琴手，在查爾斯頓國際音樂比賽中得到第一名以及在新奧爾良室樂音樂節中得到榮譽獎。他們曾獲邀到卡內基音樂廳、南佛羅里達大學和西肯德基大學演出。

作為一名音樂教育家，Vincent擁有豐富的教學經驗，能教授各個程度和年齡的學生，從初學的孩子到高級別的學生均有教授。他曾擔任大學級別的大提琴助教和室內樂教練，並在美國和香港的各個音樂學校中教授一對一及小組大提琴課程。Vincent認為老師的職責不應僅限於傳授知識，亦應在學生的終生學習旅途上擔當引導的角色。
