M.int Academy Limited (referred to in this Privacy Policy as “we”, “us” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to the protection of privacy. Your visit to this website is subject to this Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy also describes the measures we take to protect the security of this information as well as how you may reach us to update your contact information, remove your name from our mailing list or ask us any questions you may have about our use of your Personal Data. We may also, from time to time, take photographs and/or videos during our classes and/or events which may be published in various forms of media to promote our programmes. We want you to be aware that students may be photographed or filmed at some point in lessons / events as part of our promotional and/or informational efforts. Please contact our office if you have any questions or concerns.

The Personal Data collected from students and/or their parents/guardians pursuant to this Application Form will be kept confidential and used for lawful and relevant purposes including but not limited to:

(a)   processing and registering applications for M.int Academy courses;

(b)   identification and verification of the student’s information, such as music examination results;

(c)   administration and operation after registration;

(d)   direct marketing, including sending communications to parents and students which include but are not limited to newsletters and information about special events, questionnaires or surveys; 

(e)   other marketing, promotional and customer relationship management purposes;

(f)   preventing the transmission of infectious and communicable diseases;

(g)   safeguarding the welfare and wellbeing of children; and

(h)   statistical and research purposes.

We may, from time to time, use aggregate non-identifying information about our customers to better design our website and/or to improve our services and products. This means we may provide this information to third parties. However, this information will never identify any single user in particular.

Some of our offerings/services may be co-branded, that is sponsored by both us and third parties. We shall retain your Personal Data for the period necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy permitted by applicable law.

4. HOW TO ACCESS OR CORRECT YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Applicants or their parents/guardians have the right to access or correct Personal Data held by us. A request for access or correction to, or deletion of Personal Data or for information regarding policies and practices and kinds of Personal Data held by us must be in writing and sent to us via email at info@mintacademyhk.com.
