British-born pianist and music educator Candy holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of Oxford, and a PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) in Music Teaching and Secondary Education from the University of Cambridge.

Candy has worked as a music educator across a range of diverse communities. In the U.K., Candy privately taught piano students of varying levels from young children to adult learners. During her PGCE training, she taught classroom music in schools in Cambridgeshire and Suffolk. Candy has also served as a visiting workshop leader for singing and composition classes in primary schools, inspiring young learners to explore their musical abilities. Working with the charity SingInside, Candy brought the transformative power of music into prisons, providing inmate participants with a means of self-expression and personal growth through singing.

In Hong Kong, Candy has worked as a British curriculum tutor and developed bespoke courses on music and art appreciation. These courses offered students opportunities to enrich their understanding of the arts. Candy hopes to instil and nurture a love for music in her students, and help them build lifelong musical memories.
